Ayrshire Steels are one of Scotland’s remaining independent Steel Stockholders. Founded in 1987, our Ayrshire based operation has seen great success meeting the high demand for steel products throughout the U.K. Over our almost 40 year history we have expanded our services to include a complete processing facility, providing sawing, plate profiling, shearing, section rolling and plasma cutting.
Today our operation includes a full fabrication facility, designed to cope with even the most demanding requirement. We provide fast and reliable delivery and our steel is supplied in all the most commonly used grades for use across many industrial sectors.

CNC Plasma Work
Plasma cutting is a method for cutting metals. It uses a plasma torch and can cut through mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel.

Heavy duty bridges to support logging trucks in Argyll.
Large area steel floors, each to accommodate a biomas boiler & pellet store, (combined weight of 14 tonnes), for hotel heating.
Supporting steelwork for new house construction and extensions.
Extra large beams & associated steelwork to assist in the renovation of an 18th century mansion.
Wind turbine site, cattle grids, capable of supporting vehicles up to 60 tonnes.
Stairs, wheelchair ramps and security doors, for Government, Local Authorities and the private sector.
